Heart of Grace (HOG) (is a non-profit organization based in The Netherlands and operating in Ghana that believes that every child’s value is equal. Every child has the right to education, and we help less privileged children by impacting their values and exposing them to educational benefits and vocational training. Our vision is to elevate children in deprived Ghanaian communities. We make every effort to provide opportunities in education and other skilful activities.

ELM and HOG are organizations that seek to help young entrepreneurs (youth, women, single mothers, adolescents, etc.) who dream of establishing their own businesses but require financial support. Eligible beneficiaries are assisted through ELM/HOG’s microfinance projects to help them build their businesses. We also work with local organizations, such as Starlight Foundation Ghana, to implement our projects.

Small businesses are a critical part of the Ghanaian economy, as they contribute significantly to private sector development. Small and growing businesses (SGBs) are considered to be the engine of growth, and their rapid growth in Ghana’s manufacturing and service sectors is a key underlying contributor to the country’s recent economic growth. However, access to finance has consistently been cited as a key barrier to growth amongst SGBs. In the most recent World Bank Enterprise Survey for Ghana, 72% of small and 52% of growing businesses in Ghana identified access to finance as a major constraint.

The local foundation will make its selections by contacting genuine candidates to choose outstanding and qualified candidates for the programme. The selected candidates will be assessed for approval by both organizations.

They will then give the candidates the necessary training to acquire the practical and theoretical knowledge to be able to operate their businesses on a professional level. They strive to coach and supervise their businesses with strict rules and accountability for the sustainability of the project for its duration to ensure success.

EuropeanLife support global entrepreneurs in different countries as a way of giving back. We see entrepreneurship as an opportunity to help young people to escape poverty and build a good future for them and their families.

We always work together with local organisations in microcredit with a solid and trustworthy non-profit foundation.
