Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris has partnered with the prestigious Maison Messika to transform the Parisian Palace into a winter wonderland adorned with sparkles inspired by the colors of the haute jeweler, revealing an elegant contemporary space designed for moments of celebration.

As guests arrive at the prestigious hotel, two majestic 8-foot trees covered in glistening white snow and connected by a pine canopy, illuminate the path with a warm white glow. At the entrance, four dazzling blue hued trees stand 6-feet tall, while the 7-foot snowflake centerpiece shimmers with diamonds decorated in a range of white and silver shades, surrounded by sparkling jewels from Messika’s SoMove collection. The illuminated space becomes a jewel in and of itself, with the ambiance twinkling from the trees and snowflakes to create a radiant constellation of light.

This enchanting collaboration extends throughout the hotel, including the recently revamped Le Bar Long, the Michelin-starred Il Carpaccio, Matsuhisa Paris, ground floor hallways, and the Terrace, where another jewel snowflake levitates above the center skylight reflecting the light from the hotel’s indoor pool. French florist Anthony Denis has created accompanying festive floral arrangements, found throughout the hotel common spaces, immersing guests in a captivating wintery atmosphere for an unforgettable holiday stay at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris.

In honor of the collaboration, Maison Messika and the hotel’s award-winning Pastry Chef Quentin Lechat embarked on a unique collaborative journey to design a limited edition Yule Log inspired by Messika’s iconic jewel, the Move creating a sublime dessert: Full Vanilla.

This delectable treat features Vanilla praline, crisp and Bavarian cream layers, and is decorated with a cascade of small golden caramelized choux buns, evoking gold and diamond elements.

To complete the gourmet offering, Valérie Messika, Founder & Artistic Director, designed a magnificent shimmering white and gold box inspired by faceted jewelry cases. Online orders are available from November 25 to December23, priced at €110 ($117).

Decadent Christmas Culinary Offerings

For a Michelin-starred Christmas Eve dinner, Il Carpaccio* invites guests to a special five-course tasting menu curated by Chefs Oliver Piras and Alessandra Del Favero, on December 24, 2023, priced at €550 ($584), featuring:

  • Carne cruda, onion confit, robiola fondu and white truffle
  • Cappelletto in brodo
  • Capon stuffed with truffle
  • Mandarin vegetable ravioli
  • Iced chocolate parfait, chocolate sauce with Christmas spices and pannettone ice cream

At Matsuhisa Paris guests can savor a special Christmas eight-course meal designed by famed Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. This special menu, priced at €400 ($425), is available on December24 & 25 and features:

  • Matsuhisa vegetable temaki yasai goma
  • O-toro Sashimi beetroot dressing, sologne french imperial caviar Sushi moriawase
  • Baby artichoke dry miso with canadian lobster
  • Chilean seabass with black bean sauce
  • Chargrilled Miyasaki a-5 wagyu striploin sauce wasabi chimichurri Frosted mandarin orange and candied citrus fruit
  • Chocolate and sobacha crisp

Elegant and welcoming, the recently reimagined Le Bar Long presents special Christmas dinner menu items curated by Chef Norihisa Semboshi. Available on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, special menu selections include:

  • Butternut purée and pan-fried scallops, slices of truffle
  • Beef fillet Rossini and mashed potatoes with Périgourdine sauce
  • Iced nougat

La Cuisine, known for its legendary weekend brunch, will offer a unique Christmas Brunch on December 25 inviting guests to indulge in an exquisite buffet featuring a curated selection of pastries and breads from the renowned French baker Frédéric Lalos, caviar, Champagne, and more.

For luxury travelers seeking a ‘joie de vivre’ Parisian experience to welcome the New Year, the Royal Celebration! offers a lavish stay in one of the Palace rooms or suites boasting unobstructed views of the iconic Arc de Triomphe, where guests can delight in an intimate front-row seat to the New Year’s fireworks display from the comfort of their private window.

Additionally, the experience includes access to a grand New Year’s party ar Le Bar Long, a special breakfast in bed on January 1, access to the Clarins & myBlend Spa, and a late checkout at 3 pm.
