Taylor Swift & Miley Cyrus would need hundreds of concerts at the Camp Nou to see all their fans

Trying to bag concert tickets this year has proven to cause global mayhem, with the likes of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour crashing Ticketmaster around the world and leaving fans disappointed with no tickets left.

This inspired the ticketing experts at Ticketgum to investigate how many shows the most streamed artists in the world would have to put on to please all of their fans.

Top 20 most streamed global artists would have to play Camp Nou this many times

Ticketgum can reveal The Weeknd would need to put on a staggering 1,070 shows at Camp Nou to please all of his 112 million monthly listeners. Hypothetically, this would take the ‘Save Your Tears’ singer 2.9 years if he did a show every day.

The current most in-demand artist to get tickets for, Taylor Swift, would need to perform at Camp Nou a whopping 935 times to reach every one of her 98 million monthly listeners – hypothetically suggesting she’d be on the Eras tour for 2.5 years if she performed every day.

In third is Bad Bunny who would need to take on 793 shows at Camp Nou to please each one of his 83 million listeners!

Methodology

  1. Ticketgum were curious to uncover how many shows the top 50 artists would need to perform to please all of their fans.
  2. To do this, they utilized the list of the top 50 most streamed artists on Spotify and each artist’s August monthly listeners were noted.
  3. The stadium with the highest capacity in the country was used.
  4. The artist’s monthly listeners were then divided by the capacity of the stadium to uncover how many shows the artist would need in that venue to please every fan (their monthly listeners).
