Strolling along The Walk in Dubai

Posted in

The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) in Dubai is a bustling 1.7 kilometer promenade where you can shop, dine and stroll by the sea. It is set around six blocks of skyscrapers that run parallel to the seafront.

The Walk offers beautiful hotels and restaurants and is a very well-known and popular area in Dubai. It is located next to probably the most famous, white sand and turquoise blue water, beach in Dubai, where you can find a lot of beach volleyball players and sunbathers daily.

There are many restaurants, cafés and bars that bring you a taste of both local and international culinary spectrums. Because there are so many outdoor cafés and restaurants, there is a lively vibe, also at night, and it is a wonderful place to take a stroll down the boulevard. The overall mood here is festive and it’s perfectly normal to come across live bands, performers and dancers stealing the show.

The Walk is a great destination for high street shopping. Offering a variety of shopping attractions that include local and international retailers, this place has both high-end and affordable brands to all consumer groups.

Most shops and restaurants are located at ground level on the boulevard, or on the elevated plazas between the towers, which you can reach by escalator.

The Walk has a mix of Arabic and western style entertainment where people from all ages, locals and western tourists like to take a stroll. The mix of cultures is very much in evidence. Here you can find men and women in western clothing next to people in the traditional dresses of Dubai.
